Dredge can perform a burst combo with his grenades. "But J4ckto, what about Scuttle burst?" Well let me tell you, he doesn't need Scuttle to perform burst combo's. My point being, that if you learn how to aim Dredge's base weapon, there was literally no reason to use Scuttle and after the Heave Away rework this is even more the case. Unlike Dredge's other 2 talents, Scuttle never really added anything to your kit, it just gave you an easier version of your primary fire. Now, spamming Scuttle is even a downgrade from Dredge's base weapon, since your Scuttle dps will be lower than your primary fire's, as long as you don't have Deft Hands 3 yet.
And that's after you spent a considerable amount of loadout points and credits to gain max reload speed. It's dps is about the same as the dps of Dredge's primary fire.
The nerf doesn't affect good Dredges in any way.Įven before the Heave Away rework, Scuttle was already Dredge's worst talent. A lot of people are saying that he really sucks now, but that's definitely not true.
